I joined the ARTIS team early in 2005 for my Master's internship, under supervision of Gilles Debunne. My Master's thesis was about the study of alternative representations for the efficient display of distant object. Then i did a PhD (MENRT scholarship, i.e. funded by the French Ministry of Research) under supervison of François Sillion (as weel as Xavier Décoret during the first year). I focused my reasearch on alternative representations of visual detail, for real-time image synthesis. I left ARTIS in 2009 to carry on a postdoc in the Computer Graphics department of the Max Planck Institut für Informatik in Saarbrücken (Germany). TeachingDuring my PhD studies, i followed the "monitorat" (i.e. instructorship) program, which lead me to teach at Polytech'Grenoble, an engineering school depending on UJF.
